Our Varsity Boys Basketball team had a successful season opener on Tuesday night, as they defeated the Winfield Warriors in the first round of the Winfield Tournament by the score of 55-33.
The Lions were lead by Senior Lucas Staley, who poured in a game high 22 points. Eight players scored for the Lions, as they utilized a total team effort for the win. With the victory, the Lions have advanced to the semi-final game on Thursday night against Timberland. Game time is 8 pm.
