The Lions XC team started the season at the Fleet Feet Kick Off at the Wright City Battle Grounds. Races were 2 miles in length.Several athletes found that they had improved their 2 mile times from the previous year. This meet is always a building block for the start of the season, and it was a positive experience for many of the runners.
Next up: Webster Groves Invitational at Blackburn Park.
