Announcements and Important Events
Our Boys Swim team took home their 2nd consecutive GAC North-Central Championship last night, by outlasting rival Fort Zumwalt South in an incredibly close finish by the score of 418-408. The key race of the night for FZE was the 500 freestyle, as they finished 1-2-3, turning a 5 point deficit into a 22 point lead. After a late surge by South, the Lions won the night's final event, the 400 free relay, to secure the win.
The Lions had several outstanding performances on the night.
Christian Randall won gold in the 500 freestyle and set a new school record. Nick Ostrander won the silver, and Henry Griffin the bronze in that same race.
Randall also took home gold with a 1st place finish in the 200 freestyle, and set a new school record. He also had state qualifying times in both the 500 and 200 free events.
Matthew Springer won gold in both the 50 and 100 freestyle events.
Brayden Phillips won the gold in the 100 butterfly, and the silver in the 200 IM.
